Crystal from TGC A Fierce Competitor in The Iron Fork!
Last week, the Grilled Cheeserie's own Crystal de Luna-Bogan was selected as one of four Nashville chefs to compete in the Nashville Scene's 8th annual Iron Fork Competition.
Pitted against reigning champ from 2014 Hal Holden-Bache of Lockeland Table, Kayne Prime's Robert Grace, and Sinema's Dale Levitski, Crystal and her competitors duked it out for premium bragging rights [and an over-sized fork] during Nashville's biggest culinary battle.
Similar to the popular television show Iron Chef, the competitors had no knowledge of the secret ingredients until it was time to cook.
The star of the show, yogurt tested each chef's creativity and ability under pressure. In the end, it was Dale Levitski from Sinema who took home the trophy, but we Grilled Cheesies sure loved being a part of such a fun event!
